What to Include in Your Appointment Request

The most helpful appointment request includes the basics about the vehicle and the reason you are reaching out. Include the year, make, and model of the vehicle. If you know the mileage, include that too.

If you are requesting a specific service, such as an oil change, tire service, brake repair, or maintenance, tell us what you need. If you are not sure what service category the problem belongs in, describe the symptom instead. For example: The check engine light came on. The brakes started squeaking.

The steering wheel is crooked. One tire keeps losing air. The battery has gone dead more than once. The A/C is not blowing cold. The vehicle is shifting differently. There is a new vibration or noise. You noticed a leak. The vehicle just does not feel right. That is enough information to begin.

Symptoms Are Welcome

A customer should not have to become a mechanic before making an auto repair appointment in Torrance. The vehicle symptom is often the most useful starting point anyway. “Grinding when I brake” tells us more than a customer guessing they need rotors.
